Haymaker

Haymaker was formed in June 2010, by David Thornber, Mark Knight and Suzy Hopwood . Each of them have a decade or more experience in the industry. They explore many different genres envisaged writing, recording and producing an album that celebrated the synth pop sounds of the 80’s while applauding modern day dance and trance.

Working in their own home studio almost relentlessly for 8 months, Haymaker’s unique blend of retro and outro was complete in the form of their debut album Changes. Entailing melodic, emotional and at times, up tempo club hits, one thing was for certain, this album stayed true to their goal: true music and true songs amidst the depth of synth textures, portraying the feelings that each and every one of us will at some time experience. Changes is a synth lover’s dream, a songwriter’s pleasure and a dance fan’s answer to seeking the new phase of electronic music.

Haymaker are about to bring this pleasure to the UK and Europe with their forthcoming tour.
